I was always taught that when it gets two hot, for a minimum of two minutes after starting the car, we are required to keep our windows open (atleast the driver’s and pillion riders’)This cools your car down enough and helps the ac to work optimally. This puts a lesser burden on your engine. A low cost but effective approach.

I can’t imagine not having AC! I live in Houston and you can’t live without it. New compressors cost too much here.. unless you get the work done at a shady place. This is a good recommendation though. Thanks! -Sylvia
